Belle X: Support & Troubleshooting Guide
๐ Setting Up & Charging Your Belle X
The Belle X battery life lasts between **6 to 16 days** depending on your chosen mode (Ready Mode vs. Always-On Mobile App Mode).
- Plug the charging cradle into a reliable wall outlet.
- Place the Belle X firmly into the cradle face-forward.
- The device status light will **flash red and blue every 5 seconds** while drawing power.
- Allow **2 to 3 hours** to fully charge. The light ring turns to a **solid red** when complete.
๐จ Understanding the Belle X Diagnostic Status Lights
The Belle X utilizes a multi-color status notification light built right into the main face plate:
| Light Pattern | Device Status | What It Means |
|---|---|---|
| ๐ต Solid Blue | Active Emergency Call | The pendant is dialing out. The AVA assistant or a live specialist will speak shortly. |
| ๐ด/๐ต Alternating Flash | Charging in Cradle | Normal charging behavior. The unit is successfully drawing power. |
| ๐ด Solid Red (In Cradle) | Fully Charged | The battery is at 100%. You can safely remove the pendant and wear it. |
| ๐ No Light Visible | Standby Mode | Normal status. The light sleeps automatically while worn to conserve battery. |
โฑ๏ธ Pressing the SOS Button & The AVA Assistant
The Belle X features an integrated **Automated Virtual Assistant (AVA)** which significantly speeds up connection times by preparing tracking features instantly.
- Press and hold the central call button until the status indicator flashes blue.
- The unit will announce “Call in progress.”
- AVA routes your live GPS location data instantly to the dispatchers while connecting you.
- Speak clearly through the dual noise-canceling microphones. If testing, state: “This is a routine system test.”
๐ Fall Detection Safety & False Alarms
If equipped with optional fall detection, your Belle X monitors sudden impact vectors. It uses cellular triangulation, WiFi, and GPS location services to locate you anywhere in the country.
How to Stop a False Alarm:
If you accidentally drop the pendant on a hard floor, it may announce: “A fall is detected. Calling monitoring center now.”
To cancel, simply **press the main center call button once within 15 seconds** to clear the false dispatch.
๐ Swapping Between Lanyard and Belt Clip Accessories
The Belle X includes quick-interchange tracking accessories so you can alter your wear style effortlessly depending on your routine.
- Lanyard Setup: Thread the loops tightly through the designated top eyelet. Ensure it rests chest-level for precise fall calibration.
- Belt Clip Conversion: Depress the spring tab latch on the rear side of the device housing shell, snap the plastic belt bracket securely until it clicks, and slide onto your waistband.
๐งผ Water Resistance (IP67) & Maintenance Care
- Water Performance: Rated at IP67 water-resistance. It is completely safe to wear in the shower or out in heavy downpours. However, do not fully submerge the pendant under water in pools or baths.
- Weekly Pin Polishing: Clean the copper or gold charging plates located on the back cover weekly. Use a soft, lint-free dry cloth to eliminate any accumulated skin lotion, dust, or body oils.
- Low Battery Voice Prompt: If the unit drops to a critical capacity, it will play the audio warning: “Battery low, please charge.” Drop it into the dock immediately.
