Belle W: Support & Troubleshooting

๐Ÿ”Œ Setting Up & Charging Your Wrist Device

The Belle W is equipped with an efficient battery that lasts **up to 7 days per charge**. We recommend charging it briefly every few days.

  • Plug the charging cradle into an active wall outlet. The light on the base of the cradle will turn red.
  • Place the Belle W flat into the cradle. The device speaker will announce: “Charging.”
  • The battery status light will flash every 5 seconds while charging.
  • Allow **2 to 3 hours** to fully charge. The light will remain a solid red.

๐Ÿšจ Reading the Watch Face Status Lights

The built-in indicator status light tells you immediately how your wearable is performing:

Light Pattern Watch Status What to Do
๐Ÿ”ต Solid Blue Emergency Call Active The Belle W is dialing out. Wait for the operator to speak.
๐Ÿ”ด Flashing Red (In Cradle) Currently Charging Leave the device in the dock to replenish the battery.
๐Ÿ”ด Solid Red (In Cradle) 100% Fully Charged The battery is full. It is safe to remove and wear on your wrist.
๐Ÿ”˜ No Light Visible Power Save / Standby Normal status. The watch face indicator rests to conserve power.

โฑ๏ธ Initiating a Test or Emergency Call

The entire watch face contains a large, tactical button designed to prevent accidental presses while remaining incredibly easy to trigger in an emergency.

  1. Press and hold the prominent center call button until the status light turns blue.
  2. The speaker will broadcast tones or ringing, and connect to an operator 24/7.
  3. Speak directly into your wrist. The built-in HD microphone will capture your voice clearly.
  4. If you are running a weekly test, tell the operator: “This is just a routine system test.”

๐Ÿ‚ Wrist-Based Fall Detection & False Alarms

The Belle W features advanced internal wrist-based fall detection algorithms. Because wrists move naturally faster than chests, Freeus built an explicit audio warning system to handle false alarms.

Canceling an Accidental Alarm:

If the watch hits a hard counter and falsely triggers, it will announce: “Fall detected, hold SOS button to cancel.”
Simply **press and hold the central button** within a few seconds. The device will say “Fall detection canceled” and safely stop the call.

โŒš How to Replace or Clean the Wristband

The Belle W utilizes integrated quick-release pins so you can swap out worn straps or switch the device over to a lanyard clip configuration easily.

  1. Turn the Belle W over to face its back. Locate the tiny silver **quick-release pin** on either wrist strap end.
  2. Slide the quick-release pin slider toward the center of the band and gently pull the strap away from the housing shell.
  3. To install a new band, clip one end of the metal crossbar into the hole, pull the pin slider inward, drop it into place, and let go to snap it secure!

๐Ÿงผ Water Certification & Care Maintenance

Because the watch rests directly against your skin, proper care ensures it charges reliably over its lifespan.

  • IP67 Water Resistance: The Belle W is fully shower-safe and rainproof. Do not worry about getting it wet while washing hands or bathing, but avoid wearing it in deep swimming pools or hot tubs.
  • Weekly Contact Polish: Gently rub the gold charging plates on the back of the watch housing with a dry microfiber cloth to wipe clear any natural body oils or sweat buildup.
  • Cleaning Solutions: Never spray chemical cleaning agents directly onto the watch face. Dampen a soft cloth first and wipe down external parts carefully.
